Mid-term review

What are the musical goals you want to achieve this year?
  • To achieve good group work
  • To strengthen my lips
  • To create a good sound when playing.
  • To be a better trumpet player

Are these musical goals new/have they changed from when you first wrote you goals on your blog?
Nothing has changed on my personal goals apart from playing the pieces to the right tempo.

Do you think you are achieving these goals? How do you know?
I am achieving these goals by practicing at home and by putting in the effort.

Is there anything stopping you from achieving these goals?
There is nothing stopping me from achieving these goals as they are helping me to build up my strength and stamina.

What do you need to focus on each lesson to achieve these goals?
In each lesson I need to focus by looking at the music and going over and over again to get the right notes and sound.

Write in detail what you would like to achieve this year in music?
I would like to get good grades in my GCSE and to produce outstanding pieces to impress the teachers and other pupils.

Write five things you need to learn/need to be taught for you to become the musician you want to become.

  1. Need to learn how to keep the high notes high.
  2. To learn how to keep to the beats.
  3. To be able to play difficult music well.
  4. Need to play with feelings.
  5. To be able to know all of the flats and sharps.
